Mr. Haroon Waheed, HR Head Fatima Group, visited Lahore School of Economics on September 25, 2014 and delivered a talk to graduating students.
Talking about strategic management, Mr Haroon said “any business that did not have any competitive advantage could not sustain for long in the market. He supported his point of view by giving examples from different sectors such as airline industry and automobile.
Mr. Waheed said that the first stake holders of any organizations are its employees. He also talked about mission and vision of different companies and what exactly it meant. According to him mission and vision contribute to the values and behaviors that reflected an organization’s culture. Values were a set of beliefs, teamwork and integrity, whereas behaviors should always be aligned with values.
