Lahore School of Economics Celebrates Youm-e-Tashakur with Patriotic Zeal

On 16 May 2025, Lahore School of Economics joined the nation in celebrating Youm-e-Tashakur, a day to express gratitude to the valiant Armed Forces of Pakistan and pay tribute to the ultimate sacrifices of our Shuhada. This occasion serves as a reminder of the importance of national unity and the unwavering dedication of our armed forces in defending our nation's sovereignty.
The Lahore School organized a ceremony to reflect the spirit of unity, gratitude, and national resilience. Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry, Rector of Lahore School, hoisted the national flag in Shumaila Garden, symbolizing national pride. In his address, Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry paid rich tributes to the Armed Forces and Shuhada, acknowledging their sacrifices and bravery. He also highlighted the key features of Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos.
The ceremony was attended by Lahore School students, faculty, and staff, who were moved by the patriotic Milli naghmey played in the background. The event was a testament to the School's commitment to fostering a sense of national unity and gratitude.
By celebrating Youm-e-Tashakur, Lahore School of Economics reaffirmed its solidarity with the nation's guardians and honored the sacrifices made in defense of our country's sovereignty.
