Welcome to the Lahore School of Economics: Freshmen Starter Session 2026

The session, conducted by Ms Shamyla Chaudhry and Ms Ayesha Jamal, was thoughtfully designed to help incoming students become familiar with the university and confidently navigate their first year on campus. Javed Qureshi, S A J Shirazi and Husain Abdul Rehman also joined in welcoming the freshmen. They introduced their respective departments, setting a supportive and inclusive tone for the day.
Students received essential information covering campus facilities and key locations, faculty members and academic departments, academic and administrative processes, the student portal and other relevant systems, university rules, regulations and policies, important procedures and points of contact, as well as general guidance to help them settle smoothly into campus life. The new cohort received a comprehensive introduction to life at the Lahore School of Economics.
We extend our best wishes to the Class of 2030 as they begin this exciting new chapter. The Lahore School community looks forward to supporting every student on their academic journey and beyond.
