Performing Arts Festival

Lahore School of Economics Dramatics Society participated in the Performing Arts Festival at University College, Lahore that was held from 10th - 12th February 2017. Lahore School team performed on the Death of Trotsky and won awards for Best Play, Best Comedy. Zain Qazi and Afreen Lashari were declared the best actors.

Lahore School of Economics wins Dramafest'16

Lahore School of Economics students from Dramatics Society participated in LUMS Dramafest' 16 held on 18 - 20 November 2016 at Lahore University of Management Sciences. Lahore School of Economics has been declared as the overall winners of LUMS Dramafest'16.
Lahore School won awards in following categories:
Best Actor (Male)
Best Concept
Best Director
Best Technical
Best Comedy Play
Best Team.
Performing in front of huge theater aficionados was overwhelming experience for students.

Dramatics Society Workshop
October 28, 2016
Lahore School Dramatics Society conducted its first workshop for the term on 16 October 2016 in Garden Café. The main aim was to encourage members and to incarnate their natural ability to pretend and act. In order to bring the students into the comfort zones they were warmed up with the games like “Splat,” “Molecule Walk” and “Trust Fall”. Different impromptu scenarios were given to them to act out. In this introductory workshop basics of stages acting were discussed.
