The 4 P's

Mr. Umer Khan, CEO - Active8 says, “an effective marketing strategy is to combine the 4 P's (Product, Price, Placement and Promotion).” This meets the company’s marketing objectives by providing value to customers. The 4 P's are related and combined to establish the product’s position within its target markets.

Mr. Umer Khan , CEO - Active8 was a guest speaker at the Lahore School of Economics on March 02, 2015 where he delivered a lecture to the graduating MBA class.

He advised the students that while developing an effective strategy it was essential to ensure that it was developed in such a manner that it would not result in conflict of the 4 P's. Based on his experience, the guest instructed the students how best to develop a strategy.

In the last segment of the lecture, the guest placed emphasis on having the right attitude when starting to search for employment in the job market. He further added that searching for one's passion is a long journey that cannot be rushed and so one should never lose faith. He shared a personal example. In the end he stated that respect and appreciation for others is essential to be successful in the corporate world.

Mr. Umer Khan emphasized on the role of the set of controllable marketing tools that a company uses to produce desired response from its target market.
