Ms. Quratulain Ibrahim, the CEO TNS Aftab was invited on October 07 2016, to the Lahore School of Economics to deliver a lecture on ‘Consumer Behavior’ to the MBA students.

Ms. Quratulain Ibrahim defined consumer insight as a sense used by the marketers to understand human feelings and underlying beliefs. She stated that everything humans did stems from their passion and so it was very important for the marketers of today to understand what motivates target customers and their emotions.

The speaker also talked about the 'innovation journey' and how the researchers at TNS Aftab use this model to facilitate their clients. She explained how this model is divided into three parts: discover, develop and deliver. She also gave useful knowledge to the students about some of the other operations and tests used by her research firm such as the Early Brand Health Test. Ms. Quratulain also updated the students with some of the recent trends in consumer behavior and explained how the consumer preferences are changing due to increased exposure and internationalization.
