Kashmir Institute of Management’s first Senior Management Course (SMC) visited Lahore School of Economics on December 11, 2012 as a part of their inland study tour
Briefing the member of SMC during the meeting, Dr Shahid Amjad Chaudhry, the Rector Lahore School of Economics explained how the School is training young Pakistanis as professional economists, finance managers, accountants, financial analysts, bankers and business executives, and undertaking research in economics, management, finance and banking to further deepen the understanding of major economic facts, issues and policies. Professor Tariq Hussain also briefed the course participants about the working of the Lahore School and its effort in connection with poverty alleviation.
The delegates (drawn from different service groups BS-19/20) expressed their deep interest during the detailed briefing and asked many questions.
