Mr. Azfar Hassan, Founder Matrix Sourcing, visited the Lahore School of Economics to talk about International Marketing to the graduating class of MBA.
Mr. Hassan explained what is sourcing all about, what are the rules and strategies of marketing and how to create a product.
He said that in order to sell one should first create a mantra of the product, live the mantra and ensure sustainability, stay focused and maintain standards. He spoke about the SMART tools used in marketing. He said that it was very important to do a research on your customer, solve their problems, know their supplies, understand their domain and empathize with the user in order to sell to the decision maker. Talking about the sensitivity when relating to the customer he said that it was very important to create enchantment, to be true and not exaggerate and finally to listen carefully of what the customer needed.
