NUS Summer Program on Economic and Enterprise Development

Amongst a group of 15 Pakistanis - chosen from 450 applicants from around Pakistan - Tooba Sultan, Lahore School student of BSc was selected for the Summer Program at National University of Singapore (NUS) because of her academic and non-academic achievements.
The Summer Program is sponsored by Sajjad Foundation, Habib University, Al-Karam Textile Mills Limited, Hilton Pharma Ltd. and Bank Islami Pakistan Limited.
The two week program from the July 5-18, 2015, included lectures on the People, Politics and Public Policy in Singapore, Economic Development of Singapore, New Venture Process and Ideation, Business Model Canvas and Lean Start-up, The Entrepreneurial Process, Entrepreneurship Development in Singapore and Social Entrepreneurship. Students also visited places such as Singapore Housing Development Board, Pere Ocean, Plug-in @ Block 71, JFDI Asia and had conversations with new start-ups working under the NUS Enterprise Centre and Dignity Kitchen.
