PLA International Conference - 21st Century Vision for Libraries

Lahore School librarians attended conference International Conference on 21st Century Vision for Libraries that was held on October 13-14, 2010 held in Islamabad.
The conference was organized by Pakistan Library Association (Federal Branch) in collaboration with the Embassy of United States of America and it brought together professionals, library users, librarians, scholars, students, and teachers to discover the emerging trends in international librarianship and their implications and opportunities for information professionals in Pakistan.
Qaisra R. Jaswal, the Librarian, Lahore School of Economics presented a paper on "Building Strategic Vision for Invisible Librarians” (case study of female librarians in Pakistan) in the conference.
