Status of e-commerce and digital marketing in Pakistan
April 20, 2022

Mr. Badar Khushnood, Co-Founder Fishry.com paid a visit to the Lahore School MBA program on 18th April 2022 to deliver a session on the current status of e-commerce and digital marketing in Pakistan.


Badar, who is a regular guest at our MBA program, opened his session by urging our MBA candidates to consider joining startups for careers. It is true that many startups fail, but those that do succeed offer increasingly more employment, and thus those MBAs who might have been working at a startup which failed can then join those which have grown.

Career Management
April 15, 2022

Ms Sadia Irfan, Director Human Resource of Fatima Group of Companies, visited the Lahore School on 13 April 2022 and delivered a stellar session on Career Management to the MBA cohort of 2022 in the Organizational Behavior course. Almost the entire session was interactive and Ms Sadia answered a large number of questions.


She emphasized that everyone present had some talent within him or her: what was now needed was that that person should have a vision, should have the courage to implement that vision, and should have the right communication to reach the audience. The environment around us was volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) but we still needed to plan better.

Pakistan Day 2022
April 06, 2022

Lahore School of Economics celebrated Pakistan Day on 23 March 2022 with traditional zeal and zest. Dr Shahid Amjad Chaudhry, the Rector Lahore School was the chief guest on the occasion.


This year, children of the Lahore School faculty and staff were also invited. Special activities and games were arranged for them. They added colors in festivities of the day.

8th Entrepreneur's Exhibition 2022
April 01, 2022

The 8th Entrepreneurs Exhibition 2022 of Lahore School of Economics was held on March 31, 2022 in main campus in which more than 500 marketing major students participated. This year some 65-business ideas, mostly revolving around modern solutions, tech startups and social entrepreneurship, were highlighted. The ideas that received most recognition where; Rent the Runway, Drive Genix, Kafan Dafan and Mawaqay, Prominent executives from the industry, incubation centers, venture capitalists and Lahore School faculty members were invited as external and internal judges to evaluate the projects and give their feedback to the students.
