JSTOR (Journal STORage) is a subscription service that maintains an electronic archive of important scholarly journals and provides access to these journals to its subscribers. JSTOR offers researchers the ability to retrieve issues of journals as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. Content in JSTOR spans many disciplines from Business to Economy to Finance to Mathematics and much more.
Over 853 international institutions are subscribers to this archival service all over the world (outside USA). Lahore School of Economics is one of the only seven subscribers to JSTOR in Pakistan. It is freely available to students on all computers hooked up with both the network in the City as well as Main Campus. Qaisra Riaz says, “M Phil and Msc students make use of JSOR online resources for their projects and analysis.”
