Industry Academia linkages - MOU

The Lahore School of Economics and ORIENTmMcCANN signed an MoU on September 24, 2019 as a part of Industry - Academia linkages. Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry, Rector Lahore School and Syed Asad Rizvi, Executive Director ORIENTmMcCANN signed the MoU.
The Lahore School believes that links between academia and the industry should be promoted to strengthen the economy and that the School can play a vital role in developing our national economy through our focused Industry-Academia Linkages.
MoU to cover the following areas:
a) Participation of executives in various conferences, seminars and workshops organized by The Lahore School.
b) Participation of executives as guest speakers in “The Distinguished Professional Lecture Series Programme.”
c) Participation of Human Resource Heads, Training and Recruitment Heads and other professional staff of different corporate organizations for professional development of students.
d) Recruitment and provision of internships for students of The Lahore School of Economics.
e) Research Activities including case studies, company specific or industry specific research, collaborative research and development projects.
f) Exchange of Data and Information
g) Executive Training opportunities for the company’s employees by the internationally recognized faculty of The Lahore School.
h) External scholarships for deserving/needy students
j) Student/Faculty interaction between the company and the Lahore School including pre-approved research visits and class visits.
