Mr. Umer Khan , Founder and Trainer- Activ8 gave an online talk via ZOOM to the students of the undergraduate program who are enrolled in the course of “Strategic Management” on May 11,2020.
He covered the following topics in his talk:
* Career options in this tough time
* Dos and don'ts of an interview
* Nature of jobs available in this tough time
Mr. Khan gave a very inspirational talk to the students. He briefly talked about Activ8. “Being a management consultant company its mission is to activate the potential within a person. An organizational mission is an organization’s reason for existence. It reflects the values and belief of top managers in an organization,” said Mr. Khan.
He said that it is very important to take risks and chase dreams. One should always live up to one's dreams.
In the last segment of the lecture, the guest placed emphasis on having the right attitude when starting to search for employment in the job market. He further added that searching for one's passion is a long journey that cannot be rushed and so one should never lose faith. In the end he stated that respect and appreciation for others is essential to be successful in the corporate world.
