Lahore School at Harvard Project Asian and International Relations Business Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Mohammad Arif Hasan, MBA Finance (Class of 2008) was selected from a highly selective pool of international applicants to represent Lahore School of Economics (Pakistan), at the HPAIR Harvard Project for Asian & International Relations (HPAIR) Business Conference 2008, hosted by Harvard University, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 14th to 17th August 2008.
HPAIR Business Conference is the largest annual Harvard University event in Asia and the largest annual student conference in Asia-Pacific region with MBA students and young professionals from all over the world coming together to interact and learn about the most dynamic areas of Asian businesses from the most prominent industry leaders. This year the theme of the conference characterized the many challenges and opportunities Asian economies face today.
Some of the distinguished speakers for this year's conference included; Maximilian Scholz (CFO, Daimler Buses UK & Ireland), Martin Roll (CEO, Venture Republic), Stuart Dean (President, General Electric Southeast Asia), Danny Goh (Director, Credit Suisse Equity Research), Shaojun Wang (President, Beijing Investment Capital), James Keith (U.S Ambassador to Malaysia), Robert Grove (Managing Director, Edelman Public, Southeast Asia), Tan Sri Dato' Dr. Lin See Yan (President, Harvard Club of Malaysia), Shirley Chen (Managing Director, China Investment Corporation), Jun Wang (Senior Financial Sector Specialist, World Bank) & Dato' Sri Shazalli Ramly (CEO, Celcom Bhd).
