The Lahore School of Economics Management Society offers exceptional opportunities to students for professional grooming through an array of activities. It trains them to develop managerial skills and professional tactics which are required to face real life challenges. Our philosophy is to build the confidence and morale of the students so that they are able to refine their managerial capabilities and flairs. The Management Society has won various trophies through the participation in different national business and management competitions.
The Management Society Students' Council organised its orientation on 23 October 2019, at the SBS library. They gave an insight of what the society is about and also shed some lights on the upcoming events. The president of Management Society, Gohar Abid gave a complete overview of how the management society is going to help students build their character and professional experiences.

Lahore School Entrepreneurship and Business Society Orientation `19

Lahore School Entrepreneurship and Business Society (LSEBS) hosted its Orientation `19 on 1 October 2019 in MCL Library. LSEBS focuses on providing a platform to young aspiring entrepreneurs of Lahore School to display their entrepreneurial skills on various national and international platforms.
Faizan Khalid, Patron LSEBS and Head of Incubation Lab (LSIL) opened the orientation. He welcomed everyone and briefed the audience about the history and events of LSEBS. He highlighted the role LSEBS in providing a platform to young entrepreneurs of Lahore School by equipping them with a skill set required to achieve career excellence through innovation and creativity. Faizan Khalid also introduced the services provided by LSIL to foster young entrepreneurial mindset and transform ideas into viable business solutions for the Lahore school students and alumni. He introduced the council and invited the President for 2019-20, Rabia Naseer to present the plan for next academic year.

Management Society Orientation `18

The Lahore School of Economics Management Society orientation was held at Main Campus, SBS library on 29 November 2018. The goal of this orientation was to encourage students to participate in all aspects of management with an interactive game session. Dr Zahid Riaz, the Patron of the Society addressed the students to encourage them to incorporate management in their daily lives in order to succeed.

The orientation for The Lahore School of Economics Entrepreneurship and Business Society (EBS) was held on 9 October 2018 at the Mahmood Chaudhry Library, Burki Campus. Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhary, the Rector Lahore School of Economics delivered a welcome speech. Large number of students and senior faculty attended the event.
At the occasion, Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry announced the launch of the new Lahore School Incubation Lab – a place where Alumni would receive support, mentoring and guidance on building their own business and paving their way to becoming successful entrepreneurs.

Lahore School of Economics Young Peace and Development Corps' Orientation 17 and All Punjab YPDC Workshop

Punjab Young Peace and Development Corp Chapters Workshop and Lahore School Young Peace and Development Corps' Orientation 2017 was held at Amjad Chaudhry Library at the Lahore School of Economics on 30 October 2017. Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Interior and Planning, Development and Reform, was the chief guest.
Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhary, the Rector Lahore School, faculty and large number of students from different chapters of Young Peace and Development Corps were present.
In the first session, the Federal Minister highlighted the basic agenda of YPDC - provision of space for dialogue, developing leadership qualities and building a bridge between youth and the government. He said, “The youth should be engaged for development and must be prepared for challenges related to practical life.’’
He announced that YPDC will soon be offering opportunities to 200 youth leaders to work in multinational organizations all over the world through the platform of YPDC. His speech was followed by a question and answer session where the Federal Minister interacted with the audience and answered their queries.
The second session consisted of discussion among the delegates representing different chapters of YPDC in various universities. The session was chaired by a panel of experts. The main agenda for discussion of this session was ‘‘Future opportunities for the youth in regards to Vision 2025?’’

Entrepreneurship and Business Society Orientation 17

Lahore School Entrepreneurship and Business Society had it’s 4th orientation on 7 October 2017. It was attended by Professor Fareed A Fareedy, Mr Javed Qureshi, Moiz Hijazi and Hamza Tariq (two former presidents) and a large number of students.
Professor Fareed A Fareedy encouraged students to become entrepreneurs and threw light on a wide range of opportunities this platform offers to its members. Mr. Faizan Khalid introduced the council for the term. Mr. Hassan Shah Khagga (former President) shared his own experiences of the past. Kinza Babar gave out her plan for the upcoming term. At the end, there was a gaming session for the participants.

LSMS student council organized its orientation on 5 October 2017 in the SBS library. The student council have provided the details of the past and future events of the Society. More importantly, it has articulated the relevance of these activities for the grooming of students. Dr. Zahid Riaz, the patron of the LSMS, threw light on the responsibilities and the expectations from the student body. The former president of the LSMS shared his experience and journey of being a part of the Society.

Marketing Society Orientation `17
The Lahore School Marketing Society held its inaugural session on October 4, 2917.
The session was addressed by the last year and this year’s Presidents, and the performance of the last year’s society was reviewed.
The session also saw announcement of appointment holders for this year.
At the end of the session, Dr. Aamir Khan, Associate Professor at Lahore School and Patron of the society addressed the students and while expressing his satisfaction with the achievements of last year hoped that this year more would be accomplished. His message was two-fold: The Lahore School is great platform to learn but also to realize one’s potential through societies. Second, instead of looking for rewards directly, a better idea is to work hard and let rewards come to you.
It was announced that an advertizing competition will be held and that ads will be made to promote social welfare of Pakistani people.

It teaches them of tactics and methods that are applied in the real life challenges. Our philosophy is to build their confidence and morale so that they are able to polish their personalities. LSMS has been winning and bringing to Lahore School numerous trophies through participating in external events.
LSMS organized its orientation 16 on 19 October 2016 in SBS library. Dr. Zahid Riaz, the Patron of Management Society threw light on the responsibilities and the expectations from the student body. The previous President and Vice President shared their experiences and the journey of being a part of the Society.

Finance and Investment Society Orientation’16
The orientation for Finance and Investment Society, 2016 was held on 24 October, 2016 at the SBS Library. The Finance and Investment society is not just limited to the scope of academics, but aims to expand its horizons to the practical grounds by giving opportunity for internships, competitions and field visits to related industries.
The president of the Finance and Investment Society, Hamza Sadiq, welcomed the new team of 2016 with open arms and high hopes to setting the society to the new level. Hassan Sajjad, the former president of the Society highlighted on the importance of the Society and how the new batch could take advantage by being part of the Society. The Finance and Investment Society looks forward to the upcoming events and new participants are more than welcome to be part of the this society.

LSES Orientation 2016

On 18 October 2016, Lahore School Economics Society (LSES) had its third annual orientation with the motive of making students aware of its existence, achievements, and the benefits of being a part of it.
The orientation was hosted by the Vice Presidents Haris Salman and Sumiya Zaka. Dr Azam Chaudhary, Professor Shamayla Chaudhary and Miss Misha Saleem and large number of students participated in the orientation. The main topics of discussion were the upcoming elections to choose the new student body, previous achievements of the society which include sending teams to international conferences and competitions including South Asian Economic Students Meet, the hierarchical structure of the society, the intra-Lahore School competition held last year – Econothon – and the upcoming annual economics conference (Management of Pakistan Economy) and invitation to notable economists and students from across the world, including Oxford University.

Lahore School Society of Literature Orientation 2016

The newly elected council for Lahore School Society of Literature hosted its orientation on 6 October 2016. The event began with outlining key motives of the society and its plan of action for the coming year. Students were urged to take a step back from their technology infused routines and open up to a warm world of literature. Stereotypes associated with readers were challenged as our welcome extended to avid readers, non-readers and simply curious people alike. “LSSL is about finding and nurturing yourself, no matter where you come from, “marked the end of Marib Maqsood (President LSSL) in his speech. Former President Ayesha Nazar said, “I am departing the society with a treasure of knowledge that I shall cherish for all times to come.”
An interactive games session followed after the speeches that served to break ice between members. Participants were each given a name of a fictional character to draw on a board with set rules. The audience guessed the character as the clock ticked away. The activities set a cheerful tone to the event. The new team presented a list of planned events for the upcoming months such as Slam Poetry Competition, Themed Fan Fiction Event, and Writing Workshop etc. The entire team showed its enthusiasm to kick start things with a bang.

Dramatics Society Workshop
Lahore School Dramatics Society conducted its first workshop for the term on 16 October 2016 in Garden Café. The main aim was to encourage members and to incarnate their natural ability to pretend and act. In order to bring the students into the comfort zones they were warmed up with the games like “Splat,” “Molecule Walk” and “Trust Fall”. Different impromptu scenarios were given to them to act out. In this introductory workshop basics of stages acting were discussed.

Social Welfare Society Orientation 2016
October 10, 2016
Lahore School Social Welfare Society organized its orientation on 3 October 2016. The objective of orientation was to introduce the society to the first year students and urge them to join the welfare activities to eradicate the social issues that prevail in society. The short video was shown which highlighted the achievements accomplished in previous years.
President Umer Khan motivated the members to believe in the “goodness within” and use it as a force to bring positive change around the world. Former President Tayyab Ifzal and Vice President Mohad Ghani were invited as guest speakers. Both of them shared their experience and importance of extracurricular activities especially social welfare to improve one’s understanding of the issues we face as society. They stressed that social engagement not only improves personal skills but also enhances one's ability to manage various things at the same time. The speeches were followed by mind games and presentation of the action plan.

Marketing Society Orientation 2016
The Lahore School Marketing Society organized its orientation on 28 September 2016. The session began with a brief introduction about the society. The video was shown that depicted the past achievements of the Marketing Society. Afterwards semester plan 2016 was shared.
Two guests were invited for the orientation: Mr. Umair Sheikh who is an entrepreneur shared his views about the importance of Marketing in the modern world. He also shared how marketing knowledge that helped him to make Arazi.pk a successful venture. The second speaker Mr. Osama Jawad who is the Manager Administration at Center of Entrepreneurship; shared the importance of marketing by specifying the usage of research and analysis in order to gain deeper insight about the concepts of marketing. Sajid Abdullah who is the Ex-president of the Marketing Society runs his own business Muawin; shared his experiences regarding the benefits and motivated the students to actively engage in societies.
Dr. Aamir Khan highlighted the significance of Marketing Society as a platform for students to experience academic life beyond classroom setting.
